LUMI - Light Up My Island is a vibrant lantern festival that transforms Russell Island, QLD into a luminous wonderland.
On June 22nd, from 3pm to 8pm the end of Robert Street will come alive with the glow of lanterns and the joy of community celebration. Attendees can look forward to a host of activities including lantern decorating, face painting, and fun for the little ones with a jumping castle.
The air will be filled with the sounds of live music and adults can enjoy a drink at the bar! The festival also features competitions for the best costume and best lantern, culminating in a magical lantern parade.
Alongside these festivities, a market will offer a variety of goods, making LUMI an event that lights up not just the island, but also the hearts of all who attend.
