'Early: Emma Thorp' | Floor Talk & Light Lunch

Event , Exhibition and Shows At 14 Noeleen Street, Capalaba, Queensland, 415714 Noeleen Street, Capalaba, Queensland, 4157

Thursday 16th September
12:00 - 1:00pm

Emma Thorp

Early chronicles Emma Thorp’s personal journey from the extremely premature birth of her son, through hospitalisation, continuing therapies and his diagnosis with autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Offering an honest insight into the impact on her family, this exhibition also celebrates a joy that comes with exposure to an autistic mind. By illustrating her memories, Thorp allows a glimpse into a world that can often be very insular, private and all-consuming.

An exhibition held in conjunction with Queensland Disability Action Week 2021.
