Belinda, a Quandamooka woman, draws inspiration from her childhood on Minjerribah. As part of the last generation that grew up at One Mile with the old people, her work is heavily influenced by these experiences and her ancestral connection to place.

Delvene Cockatoo-Collins is a Quandamooka woman and artist who lives and works on Minjerribah. She draws inspiration from her lived experiences with her mother and family on the island, the written words of her grandmother and the natural world. She produces commissions, licensed stationery, ceramics, small sculptural works, and hand printed homewares.
Delvene designed the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 Medals.

Creatives at heart, Ang and Stu find inspiration in Straddie’s ever-evolving landscapes, seasons, moods and people. Through their photography/videography business, they capture precious moments and memories made on the island, and love to help others to do the same.
Keen to nurture talent, Ang and Stu love collaborating with other island artists, including in their cookbook Eat, Drink and Be Straddie.
