The Olde English Fair - Birkdale

The Olde English Fair is a unique event within Redlands Coast. It is an initiative of the Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay. A community event that seeks to provide an atmosphere of nostalgia for things Olde England. This includes the Bellswager Morris Dancers, English Country Dancing, reenactments of Medieval sword fighting, by the Companie of Knights Bachelor, The Prima Spada School of Fence providing demonstrations and giving complimentary fencing lessons to those interested plus the Birkdale School choirs.
The Jester's Court has traditional Punch and Judy shows, Juggling, Shove Ha'penny, Lob-a-Choc, Face painting, Popcorn, Fairy Floss, Slushies, Photo Selfies with props provided and a Jumping Castle.
Foods include: Devonshire Teas, Jumbo Hamburgers, Sausage Sizzle run by the local Scouts, and Soft Drinks.
