Rara Avis: Christina Lowry

This exhibition is across photography, sculpture and installation, Rara Avis (Rare Bird) reflects on the conflicted relationship between humans and the natural world. Lowry’s lush and meticulously rendered work combines references to the history of art and museums alongside contemporary techniques to examine the ways that we have sought to classify and preserve, and to hold onto the beauty and wonder of disappearing nature.
