Ready, set, create. The Amazing Art Race is a fast-paced, hands-on workshop where participants race against the clock to complete a series of creative challenges. Working individually and in teams, activities include puppet making, collage art and 3D tower construction. Ages 12 to 17.
Part one: Cleveland Library – The session begins at the library with puppet making and a collaborative challenge to build the tallest, most imaginative tower.
Part two: Redland Art Gallery – Participants then walk across the road to the gallery for a guided look at the current exhibition, followed by a creative collage activity inspired by the artworks on display. Each collage will depict a favourite holiday destination.
Challenges and prizes – Points are awarded for creativity and effort throughout the session, with bonus points for standout ideas. Individual and team prizes are awarded.
