Discover Koalas in the Wild with Ranger Stacey

Have you ever had the joy of encountering a koala in the wild? The fluffy marsupial friends are renowned for playing a game of hide and seek, but they'll show you how to find them.

Join Ranger Stacey and the Detection Dogs for Conservation team for a koala spotting walk where you'll learn trade tips and tricks to find these elusive marsupials in your neighbourhood.

Guided walks will start from the car park on Sturgeon Street in Ormiston, leaving at 9am, 10am and 11am.

Redland City Council koala conservation officers will be present to answer your questions and demonstrate how you can help koalas.

Bring enclosed walking shoes, sun-safe clothing, a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.

Leave time to find a car park in a nearby street.

All ages welcome. Walks take approximately 55 minutes and young children may need some help from a parent or guardian.
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
