Step into the mystical world of Druidic folklore and create a lasting tribute to the spirit of nature. Over the day you will bring a face to life in clay—crafting your very own God, Goddess, or Green Man plaque, a powerful symbol of growth, decay, and renewal.
At the heart of this course is the art of sculpting a face. Under the expert tutelage of Diane, you'll gain the confidence and techniques to transform raw clay into an expressive, character-filled visage.
You'll learn how to:
Build an armature to support your designShape the structure and form of your plaque
Sculpt realistic or fantastical facial features from clay
Add personal embellishments—leaves, vines, horns, or other symbolic elements—to make it uniquely yours
Refine and finesse your sculpture into a finished work of art.
