Join in the studio for a two-part wheel throwing workshop focused on everyone's favourite: the handmade mug.
On Tuesday evening, you'll learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel. You'll practise centring, shaping, and pulling walls — and by the end of the session, you'll choose your two favourite mug forms to keep.
Then on Wednesday, they will guide you through the next step: trimming your pieces, adding handles, and experimenting with surface decoration like carving or stamping to personalise your mugs.
After the workshop, I'll fire and glaze your mugs in your choice of studio glaze: White, Green, Blue, or Toffee Brown. Your finished mugs will be food-safe and ready for pickup in around 3–4 weeks.
