Soak up the creative atmosphere of a working pottery studio and join the studio community of makers. Work under the tutorage of artist Melissa to learn the techniques and tricks to creating in clay and to explore the different surface decoration options.
Come along and hand build your very own bowl. It can be a bee or bird feeder, a berry bowl, a plant hanger, a snack bowl - whatever your imagination desires! You will receive a mold to build your shallow dish upon and shown techniques you can use to bring your piece to life. You will work with a pale clay and you will be able to choose from a selection of studio glaze colours that Melissa will finish your piece with after it has been biscuit fired.
