Driven by a passion for meaningful artistic expression and creative exploration, The Coochie Art Group continues to thrive after more than 50 years as one of Redlands' renowned art collectives.
Inspired by Redlands Coast's flora, fauna and marine life, their latest exhibition, Passages, reflects travels through sea and countryside, evoking memory and connection to place. It also suggests personal journeys, transformation and movement through time and place, as well as written expression or the motion of a brush across canvas or paper.
The result is a diverse range of responses, from seascape and landscape to portrait, still life and abstract works, presented in a vibrant celebration of artistic exploration.
Every work reflects the legacy of a group united by creativity, friendship, community, and a shared love of art.
