Enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly drop-in creative activity with the Budla Malu Pop Up Creative Space as part of Family Fun Day.
This welcoming experience invites children and adults to explore culture, creativity and connection through hands on making.
Participants will learn about natural dyes and experiment with ochre dyeing using ochre sourced by Budla Malu from Quandamooka Country.
Guided in the spirit of Budla Malu's Island stories and designs, you'll dye your own raffia, cut it to your preferred length, and finish a pre-made keyring to take home, a personal keepsake made with meaning.
