Redland City Bands Dance Concert
Get ready to dance the night away at the RPAC Studio as the Redland City Bands Big Band presents an unforgettable evening of music and dance for the Redlands community!
The Latin Extravaganza will feature Bossa, Samba, Rhumba, Salsa and more.
This concert will feature Lucas Saad Tambelli, a Brazilian percussionist, event organiser and director of Comunidade do Samba and Samba Vibes Drumming School in Brisbane.
The featured vocalist of the night is Vicki Salisbury. Vicki was born in New York and is the second generation of jazz singers in her family, having learned much of the Great American Song book from her mum, Cree. In fact, the Girl from Ipanema, a tune she will be performing for the Latin Night, is one of Cree's Big Band charts.
Dance to your heart's content on the dance floor or simply sit back and soak in the vibrant atmosphere at the cabaret style tables.
